From a warehouse by the runway to the main stage in the terminal—BASSBOSS made a powerful return to Austin.
Our roots run deep in Austin. And during SXSW 2025, we returned to the city that launched our journey, powering venues, lounges, and even the airport with the unmistakable clarity and impact that define BASSBOSS.
🎶 Systems That Moved the City
At Empire Control Room & Garage, an official SXSW venue, our DV12-MK3 tops and SSP218-MK3 dual 18” subwoofers delivered precision and power to packed crowds. Clean, coherent highs. Tight, controlled lows. All with the effortless headroom our systems are known for.
Inside the SXSW Artist Lounge, we curated a system designed for both immersive listening and creative flow—VS21-MK3 subwoofers, AT212-MK3 tops, and CCM12-MK3 monitors provided full-range sound that elevated interviews, impromptu sets, and content creation.
✈️ From Tarmac to Terminal
Years ago, we tested our earliest rigs in a warehouse near the cargo runway at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport—it was the only place we could push the limits without waking the neighbors. Now, our systems power the Heart of Austin Stage, located near Gate 19, where artists perform daily for travelers from around the world.
