Two 15″ neodymium drivers in a cabinet just 17.25″ tall. Slim enough to slide under a stage or into a height-limited fly rig, yet it goes toe-to-toe with double-18 boxes. Lower cone mass means faster, punchier transients at the top of the sub range.
Five thousand watts. No power-sharing.
5,000W across two discrete 2,500W channels. Each driver gets its own, using the same 4″ voice coils and amplifiers as the bigger SSP218. Higher rail voltages slam the peaks while sustained output keeps the low end liquid.
The secret ingredient is powerful DSP limiting.
Five limiters work in concert, including thermal, excursion, and clipping, each protecting the driver differently. Built so deep into the DSP you'll never catch them working: the woofer takes everything you throw at it while the transients stay clean. Push it stupid-loud and it stays bulletproof.
